Wing Shooting - Without a doubt Nicaragua
offers "world class" quail, duck and dove shooting
opportunities. And, our guides are Nicaragua's most experienced.
They also have access to many private properties that are
"off limits" to our shooters. A definite "value
added" to our clients is that all of our shooting areas are
with one to two hours from their accommodations. The bird dogs
are well trained and the limits are plentiful. (Please see the
accompanying photos and web site video.)
Our Nicaragua "in country" manager Sr. Adan Gaitan
recently signed a contract with Barretta to supply shot guns and
educational seminars for our safari clients.
Fishing - We offer sports fishing trips out of San Juan
del Sur, the Corn Islands, and an increasing number of Pacific
beach towns. Salt water sports fishing on the Pacific Coast is
focused primarily on Sailfish, Shark, Tuna, Jacks, Snapper, and
just about anything else that will "take a bite."
Roosterfish Inshore waters and Bonito, sailfish and Mahimahi in
offshore waters. All commonly reach size in excess of 50 LBS.
In addition to casting for Kingfish, Amber Jack, Red Snapper and
Barracuda off the Corn Islands, bone fishing in the flats around
Little Corn Island is definitely among the best in the world.
The fishing here remains extraordinary! Fishing with spear,
spear gun, or even with your hands. Lobster are everywhere! And,
within a couple of kilometers of shore, you will find large
schools of king fish, Dolphin, Amber jack, Snapper and
barracuda.
And, our first rate and experienced guide will only increase
your success.
Fly fishermen can catch tarpon and bone fishing right from the
beach.
There are fresh water fish to be caught in Lake Apanas and El
Dorado in Jinotega and in Lake Cocibolca and down the San Juan
River. The giant fresh water Bull Sharks and Saw Fish are all
but gone but mammoth Tarpon are still abundant as are Robalos
and giant Tilapia.
