New Year's Eve at the Tropicana

Havana and Varadero Beach, Cuba



Program

December 28 Depart Cancun, Mexico at 8:00 PM via Aerocaribe Airlines (Mexicana). Private transfer to the classic, five Star, Hotel Nacional De Cuba. Welcome buffet, cigar and cocktail reception in the hotels famous “Gallery of History” bar.

December 29 Breakfast. “Underground tour" of the City with Havana's leading restoration architect. Lobster lunch at Ernest Hemingway’s favorite “haunt,” Restaurant El Fluoridate (Where the Daiquiri was invented). Afternoon “Pub Crawl” to some of Havana’s most famous bars. Dinner at Havana’s most popular, Restaurant El Aljibe.

December 30 Breakfast. Private tour of the Partagas cigar factory followed by a cigar & cocktail in the Partagas Salon with President, Sr. Abel Diaz. Lunch at Hemingway’s other favorite, Restaurant La Bodeguita del Medio. Afternoon open for individual activities or tours. Option of golf at Havana's Diplomat's Golf Club, scuba or beach activities at the private Club Havana. Dinner in the garden court of the Mansion La Ferminia. 

December 31 Breakfast. Depart (1 hour) to the incomparable rain forest resort of La Moka. Traditional Cuban lunch amidst the ruins of an early 19th Century French coffee plantation. Your lakeside, artisans village. Dinner in the private salon of the world famous Tropicana Night Club followed by the Tropicana's “Gala New Year's Eve” party. A truly “once in a lifetime event!” 

January 1 Breakfast. Early PM departure (1 1/2 hours) for the very popular Varadero Beach Resort. Time for rest and relaxation. Check into the ocean front, five star, Hotel Melia Las Americas Hotel. This days (and tomorrow's activities) may include: Scuba, deep sea fishing; golf, sailing or lounging by the pool with a tropical drink in hand. Dinner at the Dupont's old ”Mansion Xanadu.” 

January 2 Breakfast. Depart for Havana early PM. Dinner at the private, Club Havana (previously the historic Biltmore Yacht Club). Evening open.

January 3 Breakfast. Depart for Cancun, Mexico at either 8:00 AM or 3:05 PM depending on your departure times from Cancun, Mexico. End of services!

Option #1 - Come to Cancun, Mexico a day early (December 28th) and spend a night at the Hotel Hyatt Regency the depart for Havana on the earlier 12:50 PM flight.

You must have a valid passport!

Program will include: Cancun, Mexico airport services; R/T air Cancun to Havana; Visa; Private airport transfers in Cuba; Welcome reception; Souvenir leather cigar case with cigars; Custom tour shirt; (5) nights single or double occupancy at the Hotel Nacional De Cuba; Daily buffet breakfast; (1) night at the Melia Las Americas Hotel with dinner & breakfast; El Floridita lobster lunch; City tours; El Aljibe dinner; Private Partagas factory tour & reception; La Bodeguita lunch; Mansion Xanadu dinner; Club Havana dinner; La Moka rain forest visit and lunch; La Ferminia dinner; Gala Tropicana New Year's Eve dinner and Review; Air-conditioned transport to all tour events; English-speaking guides and Last Frontier Expeditions VIP services.

Air to Cancun, Mexico.
Hyatt Hotel in Cancun, Mexico. 
Mexico airport tax ($34) if in Cancun more than 24 hours prior to departure to Havana. 
Cuban airport departure tax ($20).
Golf club rentals, green fees and caddy ($45.00 per person in Havana and $75.00 with cart in Varadero)). 
Marlin fishing ($80 per person. Four person per boat).
Scuba sessions ($50.00 per two tank dive with equipment).
Additional alcoholic beverages and soft drinks at meals. (One drink is included free with most meals.)
Personal hotel services to include laundry, telephone, mini bar, etc.
Tips and gratuities to guides and at meals.
